WILLIAMSTOWN - Heavyweight Alex Rauch, 120-pounder Bret MacIver and 152-pounder Joel Swisher were honored here Wednesday on Senior Night for host Williamstown, which swept a triangular versus Ritchie County and Marietta.

The Yellowjackets, who return to action next Friday and Saturday at Roane County for the regional tournament, ended the night with a 54-24 victory against Marietta.

Williamstown, however, needed a 5-2 decision from Rauch against Ritchie County's Seth Smith to secure a 39-34 triumph versus the Rebels, while Ritchie County, led on the evening by 2-0 efforts from Jacob Monn at 106 and 220-pounder Weston Ward, defeated the Tigers 48-27 in the opening match.

Marietta was handcuffed with six forfeits, but a quartet of Tigers managed to win both of their matches, which included Garrett Davis recording a pair of pins at 152. Tigers Jake Dickson (160), Will Cogswell (182) and Nick Spurr (195) also went 2-0.

Cogswell registered a solid 9-2 decision versus Ritchie County's Brad Riddle, who entered the week ranked fourth in Class AA/A in West Virginia. Spurr used only 72 seconds of the opening period before he pinned ninth-ranked Rebel Matt Harkness.

Williamstown's Austin Raines, who was joined in going 2-0 by teammates Brye Mullinex (113), MacIver, Dalton George (126), Austin Raines (132), Logan Lindsey (138), Jake Tracewell (145), David Hastings (170) and Rauch, had an upset win against Ritchie County. The unranked Raines registered a takedown with 23 ticks left in the second period and then held No. 10 Andrew Davis down the entire third period en route to a 5-4 decision.
