Dinner/auction will benefit Reno man
Friends of Kyle Gregory are sponsoring a spaghetti dinner/auction benefit from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Marietta High School cafeteria to help the Reno man and his family as he recovers from his sixth brain surgery in two years.
irst Baptist Church of Marietta members are organizing the event that will begin with a dinner of spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and beverages. A live auction will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a silent auction at 6.

Spaghetti dinner at Williamstown church
There will be a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Williamstown Church of God on Highland Avenue. The price is a donation.

Winter Swap Meet at junior fair building
The fourth annual Winter Swap Meet will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 2 in the junior fair building at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The meet will specialize in antique car parts. Vendors will be selling parts for early Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford and other makes. Some vendors will also be selling car bodies and complete cars. The event is sponsored by the Country Roads T&A Ford Club and the Mid Ohio Valley Ford and Mustang Club. Admission is $4 per person and children under 12 are free. Parking is free. Pancake breakfast at Oak Grove rec center
There will be a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oak Grove Recreation Center, 535 BF Goodrich Road. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds go toward renovation of the rec center.
Drama department plans performance
The Warren High School drama department will be performing its spring production "The Miracle Worker" at 7 p.m. March 1 and 3 p.m. March 2 in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students through high school age. Tickets may be purchased from any cast member, at the door or by calling 678-2393, ext. 1405.
