Ruby E. Miller, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, (Feb. 13, 2013) at Tuscany Gardens, Pataskala, Ohio. Ruby was born on May 6, 1925, to Carl C. and Mildred V. Anderson of Fleming. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1943. During World War II she worked at Remington Rand, Propeller Hub Nut Division, then went to work at Kroger's in Marietta and Columbus.
On July 2, 1956, she married George Cecil Miller of Lower Salem who predeceased her. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Eastern Star and VFW Auxiliary of Marietta.
Ruby moved to Columbus in 1995 and has spent her the last five years in an assisted living facility.
She is survived by her brother, Dale (Edna) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; nephews, Eric (Tanya) of Springfield, Ohio, Tawn (Patty) of Pataskala; niece, Erin (Joe) Bounds of Ashland, Ky.; great niece, Tawny Anderson; grandnephews, Michel and J. D. Vickers, Hans and Lawrence Anderson; great-grandnieces Lydia and Louanna; great-grandnephews, Dawson and David.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Feb. 16) at 11 a.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Lower Salem Cemetery.
