The Mid-Ohio Valley Players will conduct an oral history workshop, "Getting Into the Act," on Feb. 24. Histories are expected to be taken from Marietta Memorial Hospital's 55 Plus group.
A $6 million shopping center is expected to open by the end of the year. Area residents can expect a Hills department store and multi-screen theater at Pike and Jefferson streets.

Police arrested three teens for entering Wehrs & Sons Grocery on Second Street and stealing $5 and several packages worth of smoking tobacco.
Around 150 people attended the Marietta Board of Trade dinner. In addition to dinner and Attorney General Hogan's speech, officers were elected. M. Rose was re-elected as president.
