100 years ago
A dismembered foot was found by Nick Wendelken's dog at his Front Street home.
The water rights for dams No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 were leased by Henry Archer, Sprigg Camden, both of Parkersburg, and W.W. Mills, of Marietta, for around $8,000. The lease is set to expire in 1935.
