Beatrice "Betsy" Frum Caltrider, 82, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday (March 2, 2013) at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 15, 1930, in Williamstown a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Page Frum and Carlton Truman Frum.
Betsy was a graduate of Williams-town High School Class of 1948 and Ohio Valley College with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management. She was a member of Williamstown Woman's Club, co-chaired Williamstown Wetlands Preservation, was a member of Musettes and was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church where she created the After School Program.
On April 16, 1949, she married Wade D. Caltrider, who survived with three daughters, Debra (David) Penrose, of Centennial, Colo., Darcie (Stephen) Ash of Marietta, Daryn (Jeff) Deem of Ripley, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Penrose (Craig) Beckman, Eryn Penrose, Logan P. (Misty) Ash, Lexi Ash, Ethan Ash, Preston Deem, Parker Deem; four great-grandchildren, Peyton Beckman, Haston Penrose, Ari Beckers, Addison Ash. She is also survived by her brother, Robert C. Frum; sister, Barbara Bever; sister-in-law, Dorothy Frum; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Darrelyn; grandson, Evan Morgan Penrose; and brother, C. William Frum.
Memorial services will be held at noon on Wednesday (March 6) at Gilman United Methodist Church with Pastor Diann O'Bryant officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
