Finance committee will meet Wednesday
The Washington State Community College board of trustees finance committee will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the board room of the main building.
Legal advice clinic planned March 20
The Washington County Bar Association, with the assistance of Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, will offer a free legal advice clinic on the third Wednesday of every month. The next clinic will be March 20, for Washington County residents unable to afford legal representation (less than 187 percent of the poverty guideline). The clinic will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 320 Second St., in Marietta. Walk-ins are welcome.

4-H officer, advisor training Wednesday
All Washington County 4-H club officers and advisors are invited to 4-H officer and advisor training Wednesday. All sessions will begin at 7 p.m. at the Washington County Career Center.
Informative classes will be offered for the club officer positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, news reporter, health officer, safety officer, recreation officer, historian/scrapbook, devotions/song leader, and community service officer.
4-H advisors and parents can choose to attend one of the two sessions being offered.
The program will end with an installation ceremony for all club officers.

Annual chicken and ham dinner at VFD
The Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual chicken and ham dinner Saturday. Serving starts at 4 p.m. at the fire station at 1975 Stanleyville Road, Whipple. There will be a serving choice of chicken or ham with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a choice of pie or cake.
Breakfast Saturday with Easter Bunny
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Belpre Heights United Methodist Church, 720 Clement Ave. Belpre. Donations will be accepted.
