The Marietta city development department has received $75,000 from the state capital improvements fund to create a walkway, benches and landscaping along the riverbank west of the fountain at the levee.
Belpre has received $362,000 in two separate grants to develop both a boat ramp and a city recreational park. Plans for each will be revealed by the city administration on March 21.
