Already given up on your New Year's resolution to get back into shape? Perhaps free tennis lessons through MACTA will get your enthusiasm back!
The Marietta Area Community Tennis Association (MACTA) is gearing up for adult tennis season. This spring and summer MACTA will offer free lessons on the first Saturday of each month, April through August.
Tennis is a lifetime sport that helps improve aerobic fitness levels, increases speed and agility, develops strength and flexibility, and refines eye-hand and overall body coordination. It provides the opportunity to enjoy exercise and meet new friends.
This is the perfect opportunity for people to get back to the game after being away from it for a while. It is also a great opportunity for those who have never played and would just like to give it a try.
So, get a friend, spouse or come out on your own and give it a try. Lessons will be held at 9:30 on the first Saturday of the month at Lookout Park. Call (740) 336-2948 to sign up for the free lessons.
