The Washington County 4-H program has a deadline of enrollment for 2013 of April 15.
4-H Youth Development offers hands-on learning for kids age five and in Kindergarten to age 18, as of Jan. 1 of 2013. Members age eight and in the third grade and older can select a 4-H project to explore. Learning is focuses on leadership, citizenship, and life skills. The younger members, Cloverbuds, participate in non-competitive activities with hand-on interest areas.
The April 15 deadline will give the youth of Washington County to get enrolled in 4-H this year. To locate for a 4-H club in their area, contact the Extension Office, 376-7431.
