Hands-on program about owls Tuesday
Mike Williams will lead a hands-on program about owls at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center building at 3982 Waverly Road, Williamstown. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ohio River Islands NWR and is for all ages.

Spring nature walks at conservation area
The public is invited to enjoy spring nature walks at Luke Chute Conservation Area, sponsored by Friends of Lower Muskingum River in observance of its 10th anniversary as a land trust and watershed organization. Walks will start at 9 a.m. on both Wednesday and Sunday from the trail head on Ohio 266, which is five miles going north from Ohio 60 and five miles from Stockport coming south. The walks will be led by David Blount, the land steward for Luke Chute, and Doug Albaugh both of whom are FLMR board members.
Square dance with 4 Hits and a Miss
The Williamstown Eagles will hold a square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday with 4 Hits and a Miss. There is a $4 cover charge. There will be food available, cake walks and a 50/50 drawing.

Frontier Local BOE will meet Thursday
The Frontier Local Board of Education May board meeting will be held at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at Frontier High School.
Portion of pizza sales will benefit MHS band
The Marietta High School Wall of Sound will hold a fundraiser with Smitty's Pizza on Thursday. Smitty's will donate a portion of its sales of pizza and subs to the band. Orders may be placed at the Marietta or Reno locations.
