Ronald ‘Jack’ Mullenix

Ronald "Jack" Mullenix went home to be with the Lord on Monday (May 27, 2013).

He was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Pullman, West Virginia, to the late William O. Mullenix and Ona Wise Mullenix.

On Dec. 27, 1960, Jack married Rita K. Nichols who survives. Also surviving are his only son, Jon (Janaa), and two grandsons, Brye and Bradan, two sisters, Jean Ford and Sarah Hall, and one brother, Bernard (Linda) Mullenix, all of Williamstown.

Jack graduated from Williamstown High School, served with the U.S. Army and was a well known builder in this area. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid supporter of Williamstown High School athletics. Jack also served on the Union-Williams Water Board.

Jack was a longtime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he served as usher and care deeply about his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alberta; and brothers, Arnold and Jim.

Visitation will be at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, on Wednesday (May 29) from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (May 30) at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Mike Ward and the Rev. Calvin Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
