Gladys Lorraine Davis, 84, of Stockport, Ohio passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday (June 13, 2013) at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. Born Dec. 12, 1928, in Senecaville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late James L. and Margaret(Wall) Oiler.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters: Margeret Regina Davis of Monroe, Mich., and Krista E. (Bill) Allberry of Stockport, Ohio; one son, David (Julie) Davis of McConnelsville, Ohio: eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Davis and five brothers, Harry Richard, William Andrew, Robert Douglas, Charles Lewis, and Kenneth Leroy Oiler; one grandson, Anthony Charles Weber.
Funeral services will be held Monday (June 17, 2013) at noon at the Stockport United Methodist Church in Stockport, Ohio; friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, Ohio.
