Frontier FFA officers attend camp

July 8, 2013
The Marietta Times

From June 21 to 25, six members of the Frontier High School FFA Officer Team attended the Ohio Leadership Camp at Muskingum Camp at Leesville Lake in Carroll County, Ohio along with other FFA members from Ohio. At camp students are taught by Ag Teachers, State and National FFA Officers, and camp staff to give students the tools they need to develop premier leadership, personal growth and career success. After camp, Frontier FFA members went to a house that is situated on Leesville Lake where they developed their Program of Activities for the 2013-2014 school year. To break up the two days they were planning the Program of Activities, they took six hours and worked with the Camp Staff on a high ropes and climbing course, where they walked and balanced on cables 35 feet in the air and did some zip lining. The purpose of the high ropes course was to enable students to face their fears and build on their confidence so they could better serve other students.
