Harry Franklin Perry Jr., 58, of Williamstown, passed away on Sunday (July 7, 2013) at his residence.
He was born May 17, 1955, in Parkersburg, to the late Harry Franklin Perry Sr. and JoAnn Perry.
Harry was a graduate of Williamstown High School in 1974 and then joined the Air Force. After the Air Force he began working as an iron worker at the Local 787. He enjoyed wood working, mechanics, building model airplanes and toys. He was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Perry; one son, Jim Perry (Amber); one daughter, Nichol Perry; three sisters, Mary Dowler, Sammie Sayre (Tom), Kathy Calloway; one brother, Joseph Perry; "one and only favorite grandson" River Meeks; several nieces and nephews; and his favorite dog, Jack.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mike Calloway.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday (July 16) at Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Bob Alfred officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m.
