Curt Benjamin Cain

Curt Benjamin Cain, of Blacklick, Ohio, born in Marietta Jan. 2, 1952, to Charles Merle and Lois Bourmorck Cain passed on Friday (Aug. 16, 2013).

He loved adventures and his animals. Along with his cats, dogs, and especially his horses, Missy, Kimmy, and Gracie, Curt was friends with Hank, the pig, Rachael, the raccoon, and Stella, the goat.

Curt is survived by his best friend and wife of 41 years, Donna Foster. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Cain of Frederick, Maryland and Conrad Cain of Doraville, Georgia; two nephews, CB and Aaron Cain.

Curt was a 1970 graduate of Marietta High School and a 1975 graduate of Bowling Green State University majoring in English and Spanish. He and Donna participated in the Spanish Abroad program at Bowling Green and traveled the U.S. on horseback and houseboat.

Curt was the owner of Cain's Roof Top Solutions in Blacklick. He enjoyed swimming, horseback riding, and yoga.

He will always be remembered by both friends and strangers for his wonderful smile and outgoing personality. He was a loyal friend to many and a helpful neighbor in his community.
