Local VFW post goes to Pa. for Spirit of Freedom tour

On July 12 the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8367 Post members consisting of Post Commander Dawn Lutes, William Browne, Art Hall and Carl Trapp accompanied by their wives, Marjorie Lutes, Mary Ann Hall, Maybell Browne and Fae Trapp, all members of the Ladies Auxiliary, traveled to Washington, Pa. for a private tour of The Spirit of Freedom. This is one of the planes that took part in the historic World War II Berlin Airlift. It is the only one still flying today.
