John Alexander Fraser, 69, of Marietta, died Friday (Aug. 23, 2013) at The Ohio State University Hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Beaver Falls, Pa. to John A. "Jack" and Rhea Riddle Fraser.
John had received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Marshall University and his master's degree in special education from West Virginia University. He had worked for Kentucky Educational Television, writing math programs and had managed group homes for adults with developmental disabilities for Champaign Residential Services, Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his sister, Chris Unroe (Larry) of Marietta; nephew, Mark Unroe (Kathleen) of Indianapolis, Ind.; great-nieces, Kate, Lucy, and Eve Unroe all of Indianapolis; cousins, Janet Childs (Harry) of Chicago, Ill., Jim Duff (Karen) of Ft. Myers, Fla., Heather Boyd (Bob) of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Kerry Courtice of Portland, Maine.
