A Bridgeport, W.Va., man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on I-77 Saturday.
Theodore N. Thomas, 34, was traveling south in a 2006 Ford F150 pickup truck near the 1-mile marker when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and into the median, according to a Marietta Police Report.
Sgt. Rodney Hupp said the pickup rolled several times, ejecting the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
Thomas, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the accident has not been determined. Hupp said Thomas was an oil and gas industry worker.
Marietta Fire and Rescue and the Ohio Highway Patrol assisted at the scene.
