Martha Pritchard Hoch

Martha Pritchard Hoch passed away on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Eugene T. Hoch; son, Eugene Thomas Hoch Jr.; father, Frank Cyrus Pritchard; mother, Lucy Morris Pritchard; brother, Frank Morris Pritchard. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hoch Sharpe of Johnstown; granddaughter and family, Jennifer Goodman, husband Duff and son, Greyson Goodman; grandson and family, Andrew Sharpe, wife Karrie and daughter Abigail Sharpe, all of Licking County. She is also survived by two beloved friends, Frances Flanders of Marietta and Pauline Robey of Caldwell, Ohio.

During the last decades of her life, Mrs. Hoch was visually and hearing impaired. She received help from many sources and she wishes to express her deep gratitude for this help to the following: Amy Nill, Senior Options; Sarah Grafton, Columbus Speech and Hearing, who was her eyes and ears for many years; The Ohio Rehabilitation Service Commission, The Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Vision Center; Project Mainstream, a division of COTA, VoiceCorps Radio Reading Service and The Talking Books Division of Cleveland Library. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Wexner Heritage Village for their care and support.
