Kenneth E. Miller, 74, of Marietta, passed away Monday (Oct. 21, 2013) at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kenneth retired from the Kroger Co. after many years of dedicated service. He was a professional magician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He was president of the Tommy Windsor Ring #197. For Ken, magic was not only a hobby, but a passion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred (Midge); two step-sons, Greg (Marian) Mullins of Marietta and John Paul (Julie) Mullins of Whitehall. He is also survived by his four cherished grandchildren: Ashley (Josh) Talbott and Eric Mullins, both of Marietta and Christian and Ian Mullins of Whitehall, Ohio. Kenneth is also survived by one great-grandson, Jackson Mullins of Whitehall, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Miller. Kenneth was a member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Hadley Funeral Home, Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St. with pastor Dr. Robert Hughes officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. followed by a Broken Wand ceremony that will be performed by his fellow magicians.
