Waterford woman’s death investigated

November 12, 2013
From local reports , The Marietta Times

The Washington County Sheriff's Office began an investigation Monday morning into the death of 34-year-old Tawni L. Morris, of 25 Beverly St., Watertown. Morris was found early Monday morning at 805 Mitchell Ave., Beverly, Apt. 1, the apartment of Adam Thatcher and Adam Ponchak, her boyfriend, according to the sheriff's office. Morris had been staying there for the weekend, said Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks. An autopsy is being conducted by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. No foul play is suspected, according to Mincks. The sheriff's office will handle the investigation, said Mincks, who did not think Morris' marriage to a former deputy who was terminated presented any conflict of interest.
