Randy L. Bauer, 68, of Talmadge, Ohio, passed from this life Saturday (Nov. 16, 2013) at the home of his daughter in Talmadge.
He was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Keyser, W. Va. to Lloyd William and Maxine Whiteman Bauer.
He grew up in Marietta and graduated from Marietta High School in 1963. He then entered the army and served during the Vietnam War. He worked in the area for a few years and then transferred to Alabama where he resided until his health failed.
He is survived by his only child, Angela Bauer; her mother, Barbara Kile Dennis; four grandchildren, Jennah, Hannah, Noah and Sabreene. He is also survived by two sisters, Sherry Coffman and Bonnie Hendershot; and two brothers, Dr. William Bauer and Steven Bauer; and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
By his choice he was cremated and his organs donated for research. The family will hold a private service to celebrate his life at a later date. His ashes will be buried in Tunnel Cemetery.
