Hours adjusted for immunization clinic
The hours for the Washington County Health Department immunization clinic will be adjusted Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The clinic will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. The health department will be closed Thursday and Friday and will reopen Monday with regular business hours.
Holiday delays Rumpke a day
Rumpke waste and recycling collection will not occur on Thursday due to the holiday. Service will be delayed one day during the rest of the holiday week. Thursday's collection will move to Friday and Friday's collection will move to Saturday. Regular collection will resume the week after Thanksgiving.
Dates set for Beverly council, committees
The Village of Beverly committee meetings for December will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 4. The regular council meeting will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 11. The Board of Public Affairs meeting will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 18. All meetings will be held in the village office, 919 Mitchell Ave.
Crime Watch plans Christmas party
The Harmar Hill Neighborhood Crime Watch group will hold its annual Christmas party at the Look Out Park Community Building at 7 p.m. Monday. Anyone living on Harmar Hill is welcome to join the festivities.

Gospel Mission seeks donations
The Gospel Mission Food Pantry is looking for donations of candy, clothing, and small toys for its third annual Operation Backyard Christmas Shoebox. Suggested items include candy, gum, gloves, hats, coloring books, crayons, combs, brushes, little games, and stuffed animals. The items will be given to area needy children by Santa at the pantry from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 21. Donations can be dropped off at the pantry at 308 Lancaster St. from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Donations are being accepted through Dec. 13.

Christmas auction Dec. 7 at fairgrounds
A Christmas Auction will be held Dec. 7 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the auction begins at 6. Proceeds will support the Washington County Fair.
