Florian C. Pawlaczyk, 90, of Dayton, died Tuesday (Dec. 17, 2013) at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Albion, N.Y., son of Thomas and Lottie Pawlaczyk. He had been a factory worker for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Catholic by faith.
He was married July 19, 1965 to Marilyn Offenberger Pawlaczyk who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Leonard Pawlaczyk of Fairport, N.Y., Kenneth Pawlaczyk of Medina, N.Y., Robin MacGregor of Dayton, Ohio and Toby Pawlaczyk of Batavia, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday (Dec. 20, 2013) at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Monsignor Robert Kawa officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery with military services at the grave. Friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
