Alberta Lee Fleak, 82, of Vincent, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday (Dec. 18, 2013) at her home.
She was born on July 17, 1931, in Valley Mills, W.Va., the daughter of the late Oba D. and Rosalie Lemley Hoschar.
She graduated from PHS, worked at Lubeck Grade School as a cook and babysat at home. She loved and cared for her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, music festivals, traveling and going to the grandchildren's sporting events and various activities.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Curtis Fleak; two daughters, Debra L. (E.K.) Sleeth and Donna J. (Bruce) Morgan; four sons, Wayne D. (Sharon) Fleak, Steven D. (Carol) Fleak, Gregory O. (Kimberly M.) Fleak and Jeffery A. (Kimberly S.) Fleak; seventeen grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene (Barb) Hoschar; an ex-daughter-in-law, Pam Fleak and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mabel Vickers, Kathryn Williams and May Woollard; her brothers, Leonard Dailey, Edwin Dailey, Raymond Dailey and Gilbert Dailey; and one grandson, Dakota Fleak.
Services will Sunday at 2 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Mark Houser officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Belpre. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of other remembrances, donation may be made to the Wood County 4 H Leaders Association, 1 Court Square, Room 408, Parkersburg, W.Va., 26101, either to the Scholarship Fund or the Camp Fund.
