Auditions for MOVP production next week
Auditions for the Mid-Ohio Valley Players production of "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the MOVP annex building, 227 Putnam St., Marietta.
Tri-County water and sewer meet Jan. 20
Tri-County Rural Water & Sewer District will hold its annual meeting at 5 p.m. Jan. 20 at its office at 20 Anderson Lane, Waterford. The regular monthly meeting will immediately follow.

Merry-Etta Christmas meeting Jan. 15
A Merry-Etta Christmas meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 15 in the Marietta Main Street office, 132 Putnam St. Anyone interested in downtown Marietta Christmas decorations, events, etc. is invited to come and share your vision. Refreshments will be served.
Free screenings, health information
Free screening and education for cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes will be available to the community from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Rinky Dink Flea Market, 404 Fort Harmar Drive, Marietta.
Total cholesterol and glucose can be non-fasting tests. Lipid panel (cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL & LDL) require fasting for nine to 12 hours. There is no charge for the screenings. Screenings and health information will be provided by the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine's Community Health Programs. Registration is not required.

Aqua Zumba classes offered at local club
Aqua Zumba classes will be held at The Betsey Mills Club at 6 p.m. Monday, 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10:45 a.m. Jan. 11. The instructors will be Shauna Cornwell and Antonia Swisher. To reserve a spot, call 373-4981.
Deadline to apply for Marietta Fire Dept. entrance exam
Marietta Fire Department will be holding an entrance exam on Jan. 18. Deadline for applications is Jan. 10, and applications can be picked up and turned in at 301 Putnam Street (City Building) in the Mayor's office.
