Kudos to Washington County Public Library and the Ohio River Museum for the new sidewalks they recently installed at their facilities.
The Colony-Hippodrome Theater is in the process of replacing damaged sidewalk on Third Street. It is especially appreciated that the theater staff and contractor have provided a pedestrian walk around the construction. Although the law requires the pedestrian walk around, this is one of the few examples of a group following the law and respecting the public in doing so.
Everyone wins when damaged sidewalks are repaired or replaced to make them more safe.
How is the sidewalk in front of your home, school, church or business looking these days? Is it safe?
Marietta is a walking town - both for residents and visitors. Please help make it safe and walkable for everyone.
