Dog warden selling dog tags at shelter
Washington County Dog Warden Kelly McGilton will be selling dog tags at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mt. Tom Road Marietta, from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday. The tags are $16. After Friday, the cost for dog tags is $32.
Benefit at Cutler Center rescheduled
A benefit to raise money for Jim and Ruth Blair, who host the musicians at the Third Sunday Dinners, has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cutler Community Center, 4450 Two Mile Run Road. There will be a pot luck dinner, auction, raffles and singers. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and/or dessert. Donation of items for the auction or raffles is appreciated. Proceeds will help the Blairs with medical expenses.

Beverly committee meetings scheduled
The Village of Beverly committee meetings for February will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The regular council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 12. The Board of Public Affairs meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 19 followed by the annual meeting with Tri-County Rural Water and Sewer district and Waterford Water and Sewer Association.

New Matamoras library programs
Registration is now under way at the New Matamoras Library for the winter/spring story hour programs. Story Hour is an interactive program for 2-to- 5-year-olds and their parent/caregiver featuring stories, crafts, creative play and music. Programs will begin Feb. 12 and will meet every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Registration is required by calling 865-3386.

The Beverly branch of the Washington County Public Library, 300 McIntosh St., will hold a program about ballet appreciation and history for school-aged children at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. There will be crafts, games, stories and a snack.
