Edith E. Webb, 75, of McConnelsville, died Monday (March 3, 2014) as the result of an auto accident near Pleasant City, Ohio.
She was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Zanesville, daughter of the late George Thomas and Voneda (Sample) Thomas.
Mrs. Webb was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She grew up in the Nazarene church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Webb; a daughter, Candy Webb; three brothers, George, James, and Frank Thomas; and two sisters, Betty Shepherd and Ruth Barett.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie (and Lura) Webb and Ted Webb; two daughters, Brenda (and Dwight) Dean and Kathy (and Brent) Corwin; two brothers, Charles (and Joan) Thomas and Robert (and Elizabeth) Thomas; four sisters, Margaret (and Phil) Grubaugh, Virginia Thomas, Mary McPeck, and Thelma Ross; a sister-in-law, Hazel Thomas; 11 grandchildren, Joey (and Anna) Lang, Jay (and Maria) Lang, Trisha Cosgrave, Zachary Smith, Seth Smith, Corey Smith, Lorena Webb, Brandon Webb, Ashley Bolden, Amber Bolden, and Billy Bolden; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Charles Gump.
No calling hours will be observed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (March 8, 2014) at 2 p.m. at the Waterford Church of the Nazarene (111 Marquis Avenue, Waterford, Ohio) with Pastor Karl Kesselring officiating.
