Road closure to repair sewer
The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer repair Monday in the area of 814 Second St. Second Street will be closed to traffic between Montgomery and Marion streets to allow for equipment and material access. Repairs are expected to be completed on Monday, however a partial closure may extend through Tuesday.

DeWine scheduled to speak at WSCC
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will host a Drug Abuse Community Forum in the Center for Business and Technology, Rooms 103/105, at Washington State Community College at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The forum is free and open to the public.

Wolf Creek board meeting change
The Wolf Creek Local Schools monthly board of education meeting has been moved from March 10 to March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Waterford High School library.
4-H training offered Thurs. at Career Ctr.
All Washington County 4-H club officers and advisors are invited to 4-H Officer & Advisor Training at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Washington County Career Center. A 4-H open house will begin at 6. Informative classes will be offered for the major club officer positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, news reporter, health officer, safety officer, recreation officer, historian/scrapbook, devotions/song leader, and community service officer. The program will end with an installation ceremony for all club officers.

Next Coffee Break program March 17
The guest speaker at the New Matamoras Library's next Coffee Break program will be Joyce Wiggins from the Monroe County Historical Society. She will present "Households of Yesteryear," a program about keeping house during the early part of the 20th century. The program will begin at 10 a.m. March 17 in the library's community room.
