Blanche E. Yonley, 77, of New Matamoras, Ohio (Fly Community) passed away Tuesday (March 11, 2014) in Pickerington, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 7, 1936, near Fly, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer Odell and Mary Elizabeth Clutter Conley.
Blanche was a retired cook for the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Woodsfield, Ohio, and was a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harry Yonley in May of 2001; two brothers, Gilbert and George Conley; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Yonley.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean (Rick) Ewers of Fly, Ohio, and Jill (Kevin) Backus of Pickerington, Ohio; four sons, David (Mary) Yonley of Fly, Ohio, Donald and Larry Yonley both of New Matamores, Ohio, Gary (Valerie) Yonley of Winchester, Virginia; one sister, Dorothy Diehl of Fly, Ohio; two brothers, Ed and Ron Conley, both of Fly, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (March 14, 2014) with funeral service held at 11 a.m. Saturday (March 15, 2014). Burial will follow in Mehrley Cemetery (Gravel Hill), Fly, Ohio.
