Employees of Rossi Pasta are busy dyeing eggs for the company's egg hunt in Muskingum Park. More than 2,000 eggs are being colored for the event.

Winning nine "superior" ratings in the Southeastern Ohio District Science Day at Ohio University, Marietta High School science students again outclassed all competition. Marietta High also won the annual award for the school in the district that maintained the most outstanding science program.
100 years ago
Ralph Graceman, a 19-year-old employee of the button factory and once an inmate of the Children's Home, was arrested by police in front of the Park Hotel on Tiber Way. Graceman fired a shot from a 32-calibre pistol through the window of an upstairs room and threatened to kill the first policeman he saw.
