This retired voter can’t support any new tax

March 22, 2014
The Marietta Times

I am a retired person and I understand the Warren School levy will be on the ballot again this April. I received a brochure that stated the taxes for people had gone down approximately $150 in the last years. That is not true. Mine went up $149. I cannot afford to have any higher taxes. I urge people to please vote no on the levy. There are so many ways they could cut costs. For one: Their is no reason to have a principle and also an assistant principal in each school. It is ridiculous to need both when the population of the schools are getting smaller each year.
