John "Jeff" Jefferson Boyce, 49, of Central Florida, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014.
He was born in Canton, Ohio, on July 23, 1964, to Robert P. Boyce and Jeannine L. (Talbert) Boyce. He graduated from Marietta High School, received an honorable discharge from the United States Army, after which he worked for Mole-Master Services (Reno, Ohio) for 18 years as a field supervisor. He was a member of the Eustis Church of Nazarene. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Nascar fan. Jeff was known for many things, but most of all for his quirky sense of humor and unyielding love for his family.
He is survived by his wife Lisa A. (Banks) Boyce; a son, Jonathan E. Boyce (Jessica R. Tuck) of WV; a daughter, Ashley N. Boyce of LA; one granddaughter, Mackenzie L Boyce; two brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He will be laid to rest at East Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday (March 29, 2014) at 2 p.m. with a memorial reception for family and friends to follow at Lookout Park, 801 Lancaster St., Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
