Sewer repair to impact Wash. Street
The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer repair in the area of 700 to 706 Washington St. on Tuesday. There will be no parking in front of 700 to 706 Washington St. Traffic will be maintained in both directions of Washington Street but may be restricted at times to allow for equipment and material access. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, however work may extend through the weekend.

Special meeting for Beverly employees
The Village of Beverly finance, ordinance and insurance committee will have a special meeting to review the village employee manual at 7 p.m. Monday.
The village committee meetings for April will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The regular council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 9.
The Beverly Board of Public Affairs meeting will be held at 5 p.m. April 16.
All meetings will be at the village office, 919 Mitchell Ave.
Salem Cemetery needs to be tidied up
The Salem Township Trustees are requesting that anyone with flowers, keepsakes, etc. in the Salem Cemetery remove them by Tuesday for the upcoming mowing season. If these items are inside a border, they will not be affected.
Dumpsters available for Decatur Twp.
Decatur Township will have Dumpsters available for residents at the township building on Welch Road from noon to 8 p.m. April 10 and 11 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 12. Items from remodelers and contractors are not permitted, and neither are tires. Appliances (without freon) and mattresses will be accepted.
Longrifle exhibit will be held April 5-6
The Association of Ohio Longrifle Collectors will hold its 39th annual exhibit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 6 at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta. The event is primarily an exhibit of historic long rifles but also includes a trading table where members can offer antique arms and accessories for sale or trade. Admission is $5 for adults.
