On April 10, the Waterford FFA Chapter hosted and celebrated their annual Parent-Member banquet with local farmers, honorary and alumni members, administrators, board of education members and family and friends. The Waterford athletic boosters prepared the meal along with Cathy Crock and Frances Tornes. Entertainment for the night was a slide show presentation to celebrate the chapter's accomplishments.
The chapter awarded 18 Greenhand degrees. Those receiving the Greenhand Degree included Cody Brooker, Dalton Burchett, Clayton Campbell, Richard Canterbury, Dwight Crane, Cassidy Cunningham, Alex Headlee, Trinity Jaeger, Emma Maddocks, Andrew McCutcheon, Ty McGraw, Jared Miller, Danielle Quimby, Devan Ruble, Quentin Shaffer, Jenna Stephan, Hunter Tornes and Tommy Winkelman. Clayton Campbell, Dwight Crane and Jenna Stephan received the Star Greenhand Award.
The chapter also awarded nine Chapter Degrees. Those receiving the Chapter Degree included Brittany Blind, Alex Branham, Derek Huck, Paige McCutcheon, Joe Pugh, Cassie Reed, Gabbi Tornes, Katie Wagner and Janice Whalin. Derek Huck, Katie Wagner and Janice Whalin received the Outstanding 2nd Year Member Award.

The Outstanding 3rd year award was presented to Megan Whalin and the Star Chapter Farmer Award was presented to Allison Adams and Blake Campbell.
Allen Angle, WHS Alumni president, presented the Ed Barnett Memorial Award to Blake Campbell and Jenna Stephan and the WHS FFA Alumni WLC scholarship to Clayton Campbell.
Frances Tornes, Waterford Grange Master, presented the Waterford Grange #231 Agricultural Education Grant to Allison Adams.
Megan Whalin was recognized for receiving her State FFA Degree and for also placing 4th overall in the state of Ohio in the Prepared Public Speaking event.
Blake Campbell was recognized for being a National Finalist in the Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency award area and for being selected as the International Travel Seminar Winner (Costa Rica), for serving as a State FFA Officer for the 2013-2014 school year, and for being selected as a state finalist in the Swine Production Entrepreneurship award area.
Seniors were also recognized: Allison Adams, Blake Campbell, Cierra Heiss, Cassie Reed and Jenna Stephan with Allison Adams and Blake Campbell receiving graduation cords for being enrolled in the Waterford FFA program for four years.
Three honorary members where also installed: Hugh Arnold, Randy Shrider and Frances Tornes.
The chapter also awarded the Washington County Antique Tractor and Equipment Club the "Blue & Gold" award to an outstanding business or organization that supports the chapter and the FFA mission.
Eleven FFA members were also awarded scholarships to attend FFA Camp Muskingum this summer: Richard Canterbury, Hunter Tornes, Cody Brooker, Janice Whalin, Trinity Jaeger, Jared Miller, Clayton Campbell, Katie Wagner, Derek Huck, Danielle Quimby and Andrew McCutcheon.
Dwight Crane and Trinity Jaeger were awarded scholarships from the chapter to attend the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) this summer.
