Luther Hall, 22, of 710 Front St. Apt. 12, was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence against his wife after he hit her in the head and body and choked her. Hall fled his residence but later turned himself in at headquarters.
Ralph L. Baker Jr., 46, of 400 Phillips St., was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence after he shoved his live-in girlfriend onto an end table, causing the table to break and injure the victim's back. Baker has a previous conviction for domestic violence elevating this charge to a felony of the fourth degree.
Freddy Staats, 48, of 9085 State Route 550, Vincent, reported Sunday that his live-in girlfriend, Kassie Cress, 44, had been consuming alcohol and destroyed some lawn furniture. Cress subsequently left the residence driving a black vehicle. A deputy encountered Cress' vehicle on Ohio 550 and conducted a traffic stop. Cress performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI.
The owner of Cunningham Scrap Recycling, at 10770 State Route 550, Vincent, reported Monday that he recently discovered a used GMC catalytic converter was missing from his business. The catalytic converter is valued at approximately $97.

Jamie L. Pulse, 45, of 5333 Buttermilk Hill, McConnelsville, was arrested Monday for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor.
Ronald W. Gilbert, 49, of 920 Quarry St., Marietta, was arrested Monday for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
