Hattie Arizona Bigley, 96, of Lower Salem, passed away May 23, 2014, at Heartland of Marietta.
She was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Monroe County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elba and Lula Jackson Johnson.
She was a member of Marietta Bible Center. Hattie loved gardening, quilting and her family. She was married to William S. Bigley who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2000.
Hattie is survived by her son, Lester (Vickie) Bigley of Williamstown; grandchildren, Warren (Jaime) Bigley, Kerri Snyder, Torri (Chris) Wears, David (Shawna) Bigley, Dan Bigley and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Leonard, Earl, Fred, Larry "Frog"and Kelsy Bigley, daughter, Carolyn Baker; brother, Joseph Johnson; and sister, Debbie Kuhn.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
