Dog Days event in Belpre

Belpre Heights United Methodist Church at 720 Clement Ave., Belpre, will have their annual Dog Days of May Saturday from noon to 2:30 p.m. Dr. Schooley from The Belpre Animal Clinic will give rabies shots for $10 and insert micro chips for $29 from 1 to 2 p.m. They will offer a safe pesticide for fleas and ticks for free for your yard. There will be trained dogs there. The Washington County Humane Society will be there with some animals up for adoption. You may bring dry bagged dog and cat food for them. Also they can use cleaning supplies to clean the cages. The Invisible Fence Company will be there with information on the fences.
