"Dance Varieties of 1964," the annual dance revue by the pupils of the Ralph Wylie School of Dance, will be presented at the Colony Theatre. Performances include ballet, acrobatic, modern jazz, and tap numbers.

Struck by a bolt of lightning during an electrical storm, two 1,600-barrel wooden oil tanks at the Watertown pumping station were destroyed by fire. Efforts of company employees were directed toward saving the station buildings and a nearby residence.
