Dean F. Mugrage, of 220 Third St., reported Tuesday a burglary of his apartment where a 52-inch flat screen television was taken.
Brittni C Messick, 21, of 129 W. 7th St., Williamstown, was arrested Tuesday on a Marietta Municipal Court warrant for failing to appear for pre-trial on a theft charge.
An officer investigated a theft complaint Wednesday from Whirl Frozen Yogurt, at 440 Pike St.
Deputies investigated a report Friday of a driver of a white vehicle doing donuts in the Barlow Cemetery. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver identified as Sunshine L. Chapa, 29, of 136 Franklin St., Marietta. Chapa accused her boyfriend, Robert J. McCoy, 39, of 1250 Finkel Hill Road, Beverly, of doing donuts in the cemetery. Two witnesses confirmed this. Chapa denied drinking alcohol but admitted smoking marijuana and consuming klonipin pills earlier in the evening. However, she tested positive for alcohol. She was arrested for OVI, driving under a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt. She tested a .143 percent blood alcohol level. While they were at the scene, deputies received a call that a drunk male was rolling around the ground near 10507 State Route 339, Vincent. Deputies responded and found McCoy passed out and unable to respond. He was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Deputies and detectives responded Sunday to the scene of death of a 65-year-old Vincent resident. The man's death appears to be due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. This case remains under investigation.
Rodney L. Wayne, 33, of 25060 Hornsby Road, Coolville, was cited Monday for driving under a suspended license.
Ashley Cline, of 322 Center Road, Waterford, reported Monday that an unknown male attempted to enter her home while she was at work and her teenage son was home alone. The suspect entered a Ford truck on the property and attempted to enter a storage building but did not steal any property.
Brian D. Miracle, 34, of 415 Young Road, Marietta, reported Monday that an unknown suspect(s) entered his home the previous day and stole three bottles of his and his wife's recently filled prescriptions for hydrocodone, oxycodone and diazepam.
Mitchell P. Schott, 47, of 4171 Watertown Road, Waterford, reported Monday that in January 2010 he gave an acquaintance an old Honda Civic and his license plates for the vehicle under the condition that the buyer would replace the plates before Schott's plates expired at the end of January that year. Schott received two citations this spring from New York and New Jersey EZ Pass for violations committed using his old license plate.
Gary D. Cunningham, 49, of 18984 Canaan Road, Guysville, reported Monday that he was placing mail in the mailbox at 2450 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, when a large black and white dog jumped and bit his right hand. The dog's owner exited the residence, retrieved the dog, and offered Cunningham peroxide and bandages for his small wound. Cunningham was not seriously injured and was not going to seek medical treatment.
Mandi N. Meadows, 31, of 204 N. Myrtle St., Myrtle Beach, S.C., was arrested Tuesday for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Witnesses reported Meadows was driving erratically on Interstate 77 and passengers in the vehicle later stated Meadows intentionally struck several construction cones. Deputies located Meadows at the Pit Stop, passed out in the driver seat of the vehicle, with the keys in the ignition.
A 42-year-old female Parkersburg resident received treatment at Camden Clark Hospital Tuesday for what appears to be a suicide attempt. A Belpre resident found the victim at his home along with what looked like a suicide note. Emergency room personnel said the victim's life was not in danger but she may experience short term respiratory problems.
Matthew J. McGuire, 32, of 44504 State Route 78, Woodsfield, was inside Par Mar at 17785 State Route 7, Marietta, on Wednesday when the parked Ford pickup truck he was driving coasted backwards in the parking lot into the front passenger side fender of a parked International semi-truck owned by Iddings Trucking. The driver of the semi-truck was standing on the opposite side of the truck speaking to a Highway Patrol Trooper after his vehicle was involved in another crash only minutes earlier. The collision caused minor damage to both vehicles.
A deputy requested a summons Wednesday for Samuel E. Hesson, 35, of 155 Sunset Drive, Marietta, for failure to register a dog and for failing to confine/restrain a dog. Neighbors of Hesson reported his two dogs are loose throughout the day and night and fight with neighborhood dogs that are restrained. Despite being previously advised to restrain his dogs, Hesson continued to allow his dogs to roam. Hesson stated that he felt dogs should be able to run freely and that putting up a fence would not restrain his dogs.
John M. Henrie II, 48, of Marietta, was arrested Wednesday for violating the terms of a protection order. While his estranged wife was away from her home at 550 Rummer Road, Marietta, between June 3 and June 8, Henrie stayed at the residence in violation of a protection order his wife has against him.

Aaron R. Fulton, 28, of 932 Pike St. Apt. 8, Marietta, was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence and for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors.
William J. Mitchell, 29, of 914 McGill Road, Vincent, for breach of recognizance and breaking and entering, both felonies. Mitchell was picked up at Athens Behavioral Healthcare and processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday.
