Roselene Mae Hinzman, 84, of Orangeburg, S.C., went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, after a sudden illness at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Marietta, on July 25, 1929, to the late Warren and Nora Morris Adams.
Roselene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Marietta and Orangeburg, where she was a Sunday School teacher and played the organ.
On May 17, 1947, she married Argel Isaac Hinzman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Goodwill; her son, Gary Hinzman, Sr.; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Michael Hinzman and wife Anna; daughter, Chris Russell and husband Leon; grandchildren, Amber Hinzman Whisenhunt, Patrick Russell, Gary Hinzman, Jr., Argelina Strock and Joyce Williams; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, with Rev. George Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Parkersburg. Friends may call after 2 p.m. with family present from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 16, at the funeral home.
