Glenn L. Jordan, 91, of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Selby General Hospital.
He was born Friday, March 9, 1923, in Kaylor, Pa., to the late Jacob and Frances Mildren Jordan.
Glenn worked as an Electrician for Penn Metal, later becoming Keen Corporation, and was always willing to help his church or others in the community with his electrical knowledge. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII as a radio operator, was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church, as well as the Men's Association, American Union Lodge #1 F. & A.M., V.F.W. Post #5108 and the American Legion Post #64.
Glenn is survived by his daughters, Pamela Sue Dick (Ronald) of Williamstown, Cheri Lee Andrick (Jim) of Lubeck, W.Va., and Glenna Louise Baker (Bruce) of Columbus, Ohio; six grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara R. Jordan (8/4/2012); and five siblings.
Services will be 1 p.m., Monday, June 23, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street. Burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park with full military rites. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, June 22, at the funeral home, with masonic services at 7:30 p.m.
