John Barnette, 18, of 1723 Forest Hills Drive, Vienna, W.Va., was arrested Sunday for underage consumption of alcohol, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Colegate Drive where Barnette was found sitting with his legs in the roadway. Barnette refused to move from the roadway and was placed under arrest. Barnette head butted an officer in the face and then swung at the officer with his fist. Barnette was subdued with a Taser and taken into custody.
Jeremiah Elijah Binegar, 18, of 615 McKenna Drive, Williamstown, was arrested Sunday for no driver's license, failure to control, failure to comply, and obstructing official business after he was left of center and nearly struck a police car on Cisler Drive. Binegar fled and crashed at the intersection of Glendale Road and Hadley Lane where he struck a fire hydrant, a mail box and two trees. Binegar then got out of his car and ran but upon hearing the K-9 unit being summoned, he gave up and was taken to jail.
Donna Onley, of Washington Street, reported Sunday a theft of two bicycles.
Officers responded Sunday to 100 Kenwood Ave. in reference to a male and female yelling and the phone going dead. This was found to be a verbal argument only.
Officers responded Sunday to 713 Phillips St. in reference to people arguing loudly and glass breaking. Officers found no physical violence had happened.

The Newport Fire Department transported a 41-year-old Newport resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital Friday for treatment of a drug overdose. When the victim's wife awoke that morning she found her husband unresponsive. The victim was observed huffing nitrous oxide and was possibly also under the influence of other unknown drugs. He was later airlifted in critical condition to the neurocritical care unit at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
Jamie Ruger, 32, of 20481 State Route 821, Dexter City, reported Friday that an unknown suspect attempted to use her personal information to open an account at an online bank.
A deputy requested a summons Saturday for Keith A. Nibert, 52, of 210 Fourth St., Beverly, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Just before midnight the previous evening, the officer found Nibert hitchhiking near milepost six on Ohio 60. Nibert, who had an odor of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet, informed the deputy that he was walking en route to his home after consuming several beers in Marietta. Fearing for Nibert's safety, the deputy transported him to his residence.
A deputy responded to the scene of death of a 65-year-old Whipple Resident on Saturday. The man's death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.
Amy L. Blouir, 44, of 10077 State Route 550, Vincent, reported Sunday that when she and her husband returned from vacation they discovered the glass in the bottom part of their front storm door was broken.
A deputy requested summonses on Sunday for Kari D. Voshel, 25, of 3910 Patten Mills Road, Stockport, and Belinda Sampe, 27, of 3830 Patten Mills Road, for disorderly conduct by fighting. During an argument over a pool stick at her residence, Sampe punched Voshel in the stomach. Voshel retaliated by punching Sampe in the face. After more arguing and name calling, Voshel struck Sampe a second time and grabbed her hair. Neither party was injured during the fracas.
The Reno Fire Department transported a 15-month-old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital on Sunday after she accidentally ingested two clonidine pills. The child was playing on the floor when her babysitter accidentally dropped several pills. The child was in stable condition and transferred to Children's Hospital for further observation.
Samantha M. Thomas, 24, of 1308 Williamson Ave. Apt. 1E, New Matamoras, reported Monday she believes an acquaintance who visited her home several days earlier stole a large portion of her recently filled prescription of Percocet.
