James J. Carpenter, 54, and Scott L. Carpenter, 52, both of 413 1/2 Third St., were arrested Monday for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Deputies and the Beverly Fire Department were dispatched Friday to a fire at LWR Enterprises at 4310 Sparling Road, Waterford. The fire originated in an older model skid steer stored in the building and caused minor damage to the ceiling above it. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental in nature. No foul play is suspected.
Barbara Cupp, 22, of 717 Riverview Drive, Belmont, W.Va., reported Friday that she was at the home of her child's father at 525 Radabaugh Road, Marietta, when an altercation erupted. Cupp said Seath Sebring, 25, shoved her to the floor, grabbed her hair, struck her head on the floor several times and threatened to rape her. Sebring claimed Cupp attacked him with a knife. For their roles in the incident, Sebring was arrested for domestic violence and Cupp was arrested for felonious assault.
A deputy requested a warrant Sunday for Delbert Cain, 38, of 100 Simpson St., Marietta, for domestic violence. Cain's live-in girlfriend, Felicia C. Jackson, 33, reported Cain knocked her unconscious as she tried to exit the residence during an argument. Jackson was unsure in which manner she was struck. She only remembered that when she regained consciousness Cain was standing over her and apologizing. Cain then fled the scene.
Deputies responded Sunday to Ohio 821 in regard to a suspicious male lingering on a property and located Stephen D. Marsh, 41, of Marietta, near the intersection of Glendale Road. Marsh was unsteady on his feet and drinking a beer when found. He admitted consuming two 40-ounce beers earlier in the evening. Marsh was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
A deputy requested a warrant Sunday for Clifton P. Harvey, 37, of 22000 Big Run Road, Stewart, for assault. Harvey visited an acquaintance's residence on West Road in Cutler and attacked him. Harvey struck the victim in the head with a beer bottle, then pushed him up against a wall and attempted to strike him again, while accusing him of stealing his money and drugs.
Devan D. Welsh, 24, of 865 Dodd Run Road, Marietta, reported Sunday that his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, Zachary Barnett, 27, of 231 Hillcrest Drive Apt. D, Marietta, threatened to assault him and called him a dead man. Barnett subsequently sent text messages to his ex-girlfriend, Kassandra Noland, 23, stating that he was not afraid to go back to prison and that he would "take out" her and Welsh. Welsh and Noland both stated Barnett's statements caused them to fear for their safety. Consequently, a deputy requested warrants for Barnett for aggravated menacing and domestic violence.
The owner of Sherlock Oil, at 20805 State Route 60, Beverly, reported Monday that sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) stole the pipe fittings from the storage boxes on two tanker trailers on the business' property. The estimated loss due to the theft is $3,500.
The Reno Fire Department transported a 39-year-old to Marietta Memorial Hospital Monday for treatment to a drug overdose. The victim, possibly under the influence of Xanax, was found unresponsive by his girlfriend. The victim is on life support and has no signs of brain activity.
A deputy requested a summons Monday for a 16-year-old Belpre resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager left her home without permission that evening and her parents had no idea of her whereabouts. The teenager was warned on previous occasions that she would be charged if she did not comply with her parents' rules.

Kyle A. Daugherty, 20, of 410 Franklin St., Marietta, was arrested Friday for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Seath A. Sebring, 25, of 525 Radabaugh Road, Marietta, was arrested Friday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Barbara L. Cupp, 22, of 717 Riverview Drive, Belmont, W.Va., was arrested Saturday for felonious assault.
Kyle C. Morrison, 18, of 501 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arrested Saturday for violating the terms of his probation, a felony.
Marjorie M. Lucas, 23, of 1303 Carriage Hill Drive, Athens, was arrested Saturday for OVI and for failure to control, both misdemeanors.
Pamela D. Carpenter, 54, of 913 Fifth St., Marietta, was arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct by intoxication and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
Gary M. Depue, 24, of 300 Aurora St., Marietta, was arrested Sunday for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
