Vicki Lea Winstanley, 61, of Reno, Ohio, passed away on Aug. 9, 2014, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on Feb. 9, 1953, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late John Hughes and Mary (Hughes) Walters.
Vicki graduated from Marietta High School in 1971 and had worked at the Washington County Jobs and Family Services in Marietta for 20 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, swimming, camping, baking pies, old time country music and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, John W. Winstanley Sr. whom she married on June 4, 1971. She is also survived by two sons, John W. Winstanley Jr. (Debbie) and Brian D. Winstanley; four grandchildren, Josh, Alisia, Kristen and Brianna Winstanley all of Reno; two sisters, Patty Sturch (Harry) of Steubenville, Ohio, Tracy Walters (Jeff) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; stepfather, Virgil Walters of Ravenswood, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Hughes.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
