Cleo May Kirkbride Morris

Cleo May Kirkbride Morris, 97, of Belpre, died on Aug. 14, 2014, at her residence.

She was born in Morgan County, Ohio, on March 16, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ola Dixon Kirkbride.

She was a member of the Rockland United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Stockport, Ohio. She had worked for the Graphite Plant in McConnellsville, Ohio, and had been a LPN working for hosptals before going into private practice.

Surviviors include her two daugthers, Shirley (Bob) Calendine of Belpre, and Virginia Masterson of Zachary, La.; her grandchildren, Jann Calendine, Diane (Matthew) Taylor, Keith (Connie) Masterson, Kyle (Lisa) Masterson, David (Jennifer) Masterson and Scott (Cherie) Masterson; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Morris; a daughter, Karen Elaine Morris; and her brothers and sisters, Lena Oliver, Grace Walker, Dale Kirkbride and Wayne Kirkbride.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Jim Condrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Stockport Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home.
