David Lee Love, 60, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.
He was born at Marietta, on June 3, 1954, a son of Carolyn Highman Love, who survives of Woodsfield, Ohio, and the late Robert E. Love Sr.
David was employed at the M.A.C.O. workshop, Woodsfield, Ohio, and was a member of the Richfork Church of Christ near Woodsfield, Ohio. David loved his family, friends, going to church and loved to sing, especially at Christmas time with the M.A.C.O. Singers.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Smith. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Robert E. (Judy) Love, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Kay (Bill) Williams of Jacobsburg, Ohio; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 16, with Frank Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Creighton Ridge Cemetery near Sycamore Valley, Ohio.
