Officers were dispatched Wednesday to the 1300 block of Lancaster Street in reference to a traffic crash. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle, Rocky Idelman of 1415 Lancaster St., who stated that after drinking with his brother and cousin, he went to bed and was awakened by a phone call telling him his vehicle had been wrecked. Idelman advised his vehicle had been stolen from outside his apartment after he went to bed. The vehicle, a 2001 Dodge pickup, was towed and held for processing.
Andrew Lucas, of Lowell, reported Wednesday he was assaulted by his wife on Aug. 8 in the 200 block of Second Street. A warrant has been requested for Lorrie Lucas, of 209 Masonic Park Road, for domestic violence.
Gayla Schmidt, of Browns Road, reported Thursday the theft of a rear license plate while parked at Walmart.
Sierra L. Radabaugh, 20, of 1588 Elizabeth St., Belpre, was arrested Aug. 8 for .08 breath OVI. Stopping Radabaugh for speeding on Ohio 7, the deputy detected an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Radabaugh admitted consuming two beers and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. At the Washington County Jail, Radabaugh tested .099 percent blood alcohol content.
Irene G. Harmon, 46, of 701 Fourth St., New Matamoras, reported Sunday that an argument erupted when the father of her teenage daughter arrived at her home to retrieve some of his belongings. Michael Beegle, 56, recently moved out of the home and became angry because he believed Harmon was speaking on the phone with another man. Beegle stole and broke Harmon's phone. He then broke his own phone, which is in Harmon's name. Beegle punched Harmon in the leg and fled the scene. Beegle was later located and arrested for domestic violence.
Tammy Malone, 60, of 2120 State Route 550, Bartlett, reported Sunday she was driving her intoxicated boyfriend, Michael L. Leibrand, 51, of 2930 Lake Road, Fleming, en route to his home when he became angry because she would not stop and buy him more beer. When they stopped at an intersection, Leibrand removed the key from the ignition and pulled his fist back in a threatening manner. He told Malone she would end up in the woods across the road if she did not stop for beer. Leibrand was arrested for menacing. At the jail, Leibrand tested .289 percent blood alcohol content.
A deputy requested a summons Monday for Courtney A. Stacy, 22, of 716 Elm St., Belpre, for falsification. Stacy initially reported that a dog, along with a container of food and a dog bed, were dumped inside her fenced yard sometime the previous day. However, it was discovered that Stacy willingly took possession of the dog from her father's girlfriend. Stacy later admitted she lied in her statement.
An employee of the Village of Lowell reported Monday that sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) removed approximately 60 feet of copper pipe from the men's restroom at Buell Park.
The mother of a 3-month-old child sought treatment for her daughter Tuesday at Marietta Memorial Hospital. The mother, a Belpre resident, was carrying the child when her knee buckled and she fell to the ground. Medical tests determined the child did not suffer any injuries.
A deputy requested a summons Tuesday for a 14-year-old New Matamoras resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. Previously counseled about her poor behavior, the teenager continued to be disrespectful while on visitation at her father's home in Newport. The teenager admitted yelling and screaming at her father because he sets rules for the house that she does not like.
A deputy responded Tuesday to the scene of death of a 61-year-old Muskingum Township resident. The man's death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.
Ashley N. Moore, 22, of 209 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported Tuesday she was assaulted by her aunt, Lorrie Lucas, 36. Moore reportedly yelled at Lucas' son for being rude. Lucas overheard and grabbed Moore by the hair. Lucas struck Moore several times before she was able to escape and bystanders intervened. Though Lucas claimed Moore attacked her, witnesses agreed that Lucas was the primary aggressor. Lucas was arrested for domestic violence.
A resident on Ohio 7 in Marietta Township reported Wednesday that an acquaintance arrived at his home that evening and appeared to be overdosing. The victim briefly lost consciousness and then fled the scene. Deputies responded and could not locate the victim.
Sharon R. Swartz, 63, of Route 3 Box 55, Cameron, W.Va., reported Wednesday that the license plate on her Chrysler Cirrus was stolen while it was parked for repairs at National Muffler and Brake Services at 114 Ellsworth Ave., Marietta, between Aug. 1 and Wednesday.
Carol A. Harvey, 43, of 1230 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, reported Wednesday that she was walking along Mayle Ridge Road when she heard someone yelling at her. Carol said she then saw Susan Harvey, 40, of 11722 State Route 555, Cutler, yelling out of her vehicle's window. She then put her car in reverse and nearly struck Carol. Carol stated Susan blamed her for being placed on probation and threatened to beat her up when her probationary period was finished. A deputy requested a warrant for Susan for aggravated menacing.
Brian Baughan, 35, of 120 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, reported Wednesday that someone entered his home while he was working that day and stole two televisions, a DVD player, 40 to 50 DVDs, an air compressor, three nail guns, a new pair of cowboy boots and a watch. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $1,120.
Joseph E. O'Brien, 28, of 710 King Ave., Cutler, reported Wednesday that he, his live-in boyfriend, Nathan Mercer, 37, and a friend were gathered around a bonfire on his property when his father arrived at the scene. William E. O'Brien, 50, of 650 King Ave., began yelling about the bonfire and threatened to burn down his son's house. Joseph and Mercer stated the comment caused them to fear for their safety. William O'Brien was arrested for domestic violence and menacing.

Lorrie L. Lucas, 36, of 209 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Thomas M. Emerick, 45, of 301 Oakwood Ave., Marietta, was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
Gary L. Cable, 34, of 485 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, was arrested Wednesday for three felony counts of trafficking in drugs and a misdemeanor count of failure to appear.
Pebble M. Longfellow, 29, of 966 State Route 555, Little Hocking, for failure to appear, a felony. Longfellow was picked up at the Lakin Correctional Center and processed into the Washington County Jail Wednesday.
William E. O'Brien, 50, of 650 King Ave., Cutler, was arrested Thursday for domestic violence and menacing, both misdemeanors.
Justin R. Schroeder, 32, of 6235 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run, was arrested Thursday for violating the terms of his probation, a felony.
